What We Are Thankful For

As the CTeL team prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving, we’ve been taking some time to reflect on what we’re thankful for. One of those things: all of you! Whether you’re a casual reader of our newsletter, or you follow us on social media, or you attend our twice-yearly summits, or you’ve sought out some answers from our research team, you are tremendously important to us.

Next week, we’ll host our ninth CTeL Executive Telehealth Summit here in Washington. Five years ago, our first summit grew out of a need, based on conversations we had with telehealth industry leaders, for a more substantive policy “dialogue with deliverables”—something beyond a trade show or academic conference. We purposefully limited that first meeting to just 30 people so that we could facilitate conversation. Over the years, we’ve worked creatively to expand the number of available seats, while still making sure that the summits are small enough to allow for genuine dialogue. Next week, we’ll have more than 140 people in the room; while 60 percent of those people have attended previous summits, there are also more than 50 new registrants. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Washington next week for a robust conversation about the future of telehealth.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at CTeL! We look forward to continuing to work with each and every one of you.
