Understanding the barriers to accessing awarded funds and what states, hospitals, and healthcare organizations need to do to receive payment.
Congress appropriated $50 billion through H.R. 1 for the Rural Health Transformation Program, and CMS has awarded the first $10 billion to all 50 states. Yet unexpected regulatory, administrative, and funding hurdles have raised concerns for small Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and rural hospitals counting on these resources.
Please join the Center for Telehealth & e-Health Law (CTeL) on December 1 at 2:00 PM ET for a discussion examining what is preventing these funds from reaching healthcare providers, how federal requirements and state funding processes affect access, and the practical steps organizations can take to identify funding opportunities, navigate state applications, and meet the requirements for payment.
